i smoke a pack a week
its true.
according to someone in my comm design class, riding the tube here in london for 40 minutes is equal to smoking 2 cigarettes. thats very disturbing! it makes me want to stop using it!
ohhhh how convenient! the tube wants me to stop using it also! i don't know if i mentioned this before, but there was some sort of mix up with the london transportation, and now my oyster card doesn't work. so i had to buy a new oyster card today for the week, and i've been buying individual day passes, and its all very annoying. i have to jump thru alot of hoops and do alot of singing and dancing, but hopefully things will be fixed soon and they will pay me back for what this has caused me.
speaking of fixing things: the heat is back on in our house! and the hot water is on! its back to normal!...except for the clothes washer.. which is busted. blown circuit or something, and we need a new one. but luckily we don't have to get charged for it. unfortunately tho, it will take a long time for it to get fixed probably.
so i've been extremely busy ever since i put my feet down in london again, couple of late nights and early mornings but hopefully tonight i'll be able to get back on my sleep schedule.
bill padget from su is in town also, checking out how we're doing on our comm design stuff. he's a professor of comm design... we're all worried because we're not doing nearly as much work as we would be if we were still in syracuse. i'm actuall meeting with him jsut to talk in about 15 mins.
today on the tube i saw a pick pocketer at work! guy got behind some woman and tried to get her backpack open, but was unsuccessful. it was very interesting. i also saw the doors close on a homeless guy on the tube yesterday. very interesting.
its also registration time for next semester, so we'll see how that goes.
that's it, i reckon... not too much new, just a very busy few days trying to get unpacked and back to normal. my plan is to spend thursday updating the blog in terms of spring break. i've got most things all planned out. so expect something by thursday night if all goes according to plan. heading to brighton on friday! brighton is the beach! its way too cold to swim tho, so we'll see what happens... i'd like to go in the water, but i don't want to die. its supposed to be a very beautiful place, anyways.
cheers for now!
